The main problem area is the synopsis, whose style & language are unencyclopædic. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:08, 17 August 2005 (UTC)

I will write a temporary article on the subpage. Yeltensic42.618 27:00, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

If no-one objects, I'll move the temp page to the main article space (after deleting the current article to remove the copyvio), and report the issue as settled. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:27, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
No objections here, I'm slowly working through some copyright violation entries, if you're going to move it I'll clear the August 23rd entry. Rx StrangeLove 23:16, 13 September 2005 (UTC)

OK, it's moved. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:53, 14 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "Shit Break"

The article claims Stifler refers to Finch as "Shit Break", I'm almost 100% positive he calls him "Shit Brick". Can anyone verify?

It's shit break, as in he takes a break from school to go home and have a shit. - Dudesleeper | Talk 12:29, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think it is, "Shit brick" is common insult, and several sites with quotes from the movie list the nickname as "Shit Brick".

[edit] Trivia sections suck

Trivia sections are just bits of miscellaneous info that people cannot be bothered to seemlessly work into the main body of that article. Most of that list can be moved in I am sure. See WP:TRIVIA --Merbabu 07:22, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Angry Pie

Anyone think the Pie looks angry? It has an open mouth with "teeth" slit eyes and it's brows are pointing inwards. The Pie is definetly angry about something...

[edit] "Teen film" or "adult film"

The uncut version received a NC-17 rating (e.g. "adults only"), so how can it be considered a "teen film"?--Azer Red Si? 18:39, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Its simply because its a coming of age movie. So it gets classed with all the other films that involve teenagers.Wild ste 15:44, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

NC-17 means you have to be 17 to see it no matter what, and a 17 year old isnt an adult. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.213.165.234 (talk) 23:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:American Pie OST.jpg

Image:American Pie OST.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:33, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 19:00, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Additional information regarding movie screening

'The film is frequently re-run on TV channel ITV in the United Kingdom throughout the year.' - This was added for the benefit of viewers who may wish to view the film on free-to-air television, and is a neutral point of information that was deleted from the post. The piece of information can also be found on wiki pages about other movies also re-run on UK TV, so why not this one? Who's in favor of it being added?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.23.7.78 (talk) 23:41, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Soundtrack Listing - Missing Song?

I fear there's another song featured in the film that is not mentioned in this article. It's the song played immedately before the credits start (when Jim does his webcam performance for Nadia). Correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge this song is neither included on the OST, nor is it mentioned in this artile as part of the "inofficial" score. Does anyone know it's title and performers? 80.131.221.254 (talk) 16:08, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
