[edit] Lebanese Syrian: What does that mean?

Isn't this a front organization for jihad? Even arab christians want to destroy Israel, and murder Jews (these are the so-called "moderate" arabs). Once again Wikipedia hijacked by jihadi garbage. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.228.248.189 (talk • contribs).

May I ask what suggestion you're making to improve this Wikipedia article? This article is about one of the largest healthcare charities in the United States, not a terrorist funding organization. The "Lebanese Syrian" in the title of the organization's name comes from the fact that actor Danny Thomas, one of the founders of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, was of Lebanese descent, and many of his friends that helped him fund and found the hospital were of Syrian and Lebanese descent as well. That said, Wikipedia is not a discussion board, nor is it a publisher of original thought, so may I ask that you (1) do a little research before posting potentially inflammatory messages on talk pages, (2) not post ridiculous conspiracy theories on talk pages, and (3) only post on talk pages when you have a suggestion to improve an article? · j e r s y k o talk · 22:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
User:Jersyko neglected to mention that the inquiry into the legitamacy of this terrorist front organization had resulted in this aforementioned User:Jersyko blanking the comments on this page. Given the manifest danger of this jihadi menace, I wish to remain anonymous. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.228.248.64 (talkcontribs).
Frankly, Wikipedia doesn't care whether you would rather not sign your talk page posts, as WP:SIG necessitates it. If you don't like it, go to another website. Speaking of garbage, how about you present ONE reliable source regarding ALSAC and terrorism? Furthermore, if you continue to merely make these wild accusations on this talk page without making any substantive suggestions for this article, you're violating one of Wikipedia's policies: Wikipedia is not a discussion forum, which is why I blanked the talk page in the first place (though I thought twice and reverted myself, as it was clear you weren't going to stop). Good f*cking day. · j e r s y k o talk · 22:09, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
There are many websites to rant about conspiracy theories. Wikipedia is not one of them. If there a suggestion to improve the article, go right ahead. Otherwise, you may find your efforts better suited for a different project. - Dozenist talk 22:38, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
In all honesty, this is well beyond silly. Groundless accusations against ALSAC have absolutely no place on Wikipedia. (At the very least, the violate Neutral Point of View, WP:OR) These claims are so far beyond the pale that there is not even a well-known far-fetched conspiracy theory about ALSAC -- and goodness knows that there is one about everything else. So if you want to be welcome on Wikipedia, you'll need to respect our rules. --Zantastik talk 04:32, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
