The G2 information is proven to be incorrect as the 60th anniversary has already passed. There are credible sources for the American Hiroshima threat. The leading one is the book called American Hiroshima by David Dionisi. Also the book Nuclear Terrorism by Allison Graham and Countdown to Terror by Congressman Curt Weldon. The threat is also described in the documentary by the Nuclear Threat Institute called The Last Best Chance.
