Can someone explain to me why the American Golden Plover is listed in the Western Australia list of Birds when Australia is not even mentioned in the article Dragonchat20 09:11, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

It's pretty rare in Oz - Pacific is much more common. Jimfbleak 10:20, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2500 or 25000 ?

The Text tells: "The bird has one of the longest known migratory routes of over 2500 miles". I think that the right distance is ten times more, from Alaska to Patagonia. --Wolfgang1018 (talk) 21:48, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
