[edit] 1982 championships

Because of the strike the NFL did not have the division set up at the end of the season. I don't think or any team in the NFC E/W and old central or AFC E/W and old central should be listed asthe 1982 champions. I think the table should be blank for 1982 with the team with best record listed in the footnote. It should not be writtent to reflect the team as the champion of the division for that season Smith03 22:08, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, since Chris Berman likes to create disturbing NFL/NHL hybrid names, I devised one of my own:

AFC P-Adams.

Pats and Bills correspond to the Adams, New York corresponds to the Patrick. WizardDuck 04:26, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
