[edit] Top Model SCREW UP
Excuse me why does it say Chantal won when Salisha won the title of America's Next Top Model and why does it say it on the wikigraph too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.68.3.21 (talk) 02:57, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

ANTM Cycle 9 begins September 19 and names and faces have been revealed on The CW website. So how come is there still a protection listed on page not to be created? I would do it myself but don't know how Ceddy 06 18:17, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Surnames
Absolutely NO proof. Occasionally some of the girls' names are revealed preshow through local media and the like but never all of them at once. Regardless of which may be real and which are fake I've removed them all. Thanks. <3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.2.149.182 (talk) 03:03, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Call-out order
As of now (September 24) only one episode of the 9th cycle has aired. Therefore I think it would be best to just leave the call-out order for future episodes empty until they air, unless someone can find and cite a reliable source. I've seen a lot of different names at different positions for the second episode as well as the winner, which leads me to wonder if people are just writing down rumors. Eatcacti 16:44, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
EXCUSE ME BUT WHY ARE WE POSTING THE WINNER OF THIS CYCLE? WTF? I CAME HERE FOR INFO NOT TO RUIN MY FUCKING SEASON FUCK WHO EVER FUCKING PUT THE NAMES UP THERE I HOPE YOU FUCKING CHOKE ON A DICK —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.138.41.69 (talk) 19:18, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- I really don't think you need to worry. People have posted many different names as the winner, and obviously they can't all be right. I think people are just posting idle speculation and/or rumors. I remove them when I can. The ANTM people in general (except for last season with Jaslene) do an exceptional job of keeping the winner a secret. Eatcacti 00:35, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
The content needs to be removed. It is likely a spoiler for the entire season. Spoilers for unaired episodes of TV shows are not put into the pages unless it's readily available information (For example, the 2007 WSOP). - Kirblar —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirblar (talk • contribs) 04:36, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- I guess someone tries to fill up the elimination order again, and Heather is the winner, may be she is. But last cycle, if I'm not wrong, someone created the spoiler on the article that Brittany is the winner, but she isn't. - So, just my advice, you should put the spoiler and the source on this part instead.
I removed the new "eliminations," but I left the colored boxes because I ran out of time. maryann 05:33, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Whoever is posting the phony call-out orders needs to stop, espcially since they're trying to spoil the Cover Girl of the Week results as well...which haven't even been voted on yet. If you're going to spin a yarn, make sure you have some credibility for pete's sake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.162.156 (talk) 05:44, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
My uncle is pretty sure of the callout orders hes positive of the challenge winners and bottom 2s and first calls. :) UncleCamerman 05:55, 12 October 2007 (UTC) - And how do we know your uncle is who he says he is? In any case, he would have had to sign a nondisclosure agreement with Bankable Productions, and would be in violation of same if he allowed information to be leaked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.162.156 (talk) 06:11, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- No matter whether or not your uncle is correct, we have absolutely no way to verify it, and that's the main issue. As has already been pointed out, everyone working for or in the show has to sign a nondisclosure agreement and will get in legal trouble if they reveal what happens in the show. Obviously that's not going to 100% stop leaks from occurring, but it does mean that it's impossible for any verifiable leak to occur, which is what matters here. Eatcacti 09:36, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Look, I understand that there are rumors going around about the winner and the call-out order for the next episode. We can't include these because they are just rumors. It doesn't matter if they were posted on the TWoP forums, they are not a reliable, verifiable source. Unless and until there is a reliable source for the call-out order and/or winner, it has no place in wikipedia. Eatcacti 23:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

- I'm sorry, but no. IMDb is not a reliable source because it relies on user-submitted data. For example, IMDb lists Ebony's last name as Martines, but she announced on the show that her last name was Morgan. Eatcacti 06:25, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semi-protection?
Should this page be semi-protected due to the high frequency of anon contributers adding unsourced speculation or breaking the call-out table? —dgiestc 18:31, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, absolutely. I was going to request it but then I was too lazy to figure out how. It would save so much trouble if it were semi-protected. Eatcacti 18:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- OK, semi-protected for 2 weeks. Sorry to the anons who are productive contributers. Make your suggestion here and someone can add it for you. —dgiestc 22:08, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I requested indefinite semi-protection. maryann 03:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Chantal's last name is shown but has no source.
- Are you asking that the last name be removed as lacking a source, or do you have a source? —dgiestc 06:23, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- I was asking for it to be removed but it's already been done. Also, Ebony's last name is listed but there is no source. However, in the latest episode after Ebony has quit and they show her audition tape, she says her full name which is indeed, Ebony Morgan. Anyone else think it's a bit odd they didn't show any confessionals from her before that episode? Hmm. Sireafi 01:16, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ebony's last name was only added right after the show aired. I don't think it needs to be cited if it happened on air (the call-out orders and episode summaries aren't cited either). Eatcacti 01:24, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Is there anyway that we can get the Top 3 Call-Out Mean and Medians, as well as the Cons. & Coll. Bottom 2 call outs added?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have the following
Top 3 Call-Out Mean: Lisa - 2.5, Jenah - 3.0, Heather - 3.25
Top 3 Call-Out Median: Heather & Lisa - 2.5 Tie, Jenah - 3.0
Cons. Bottom Two: Bianca - 2 times
Coll. Bottom Two: Bianca - 2 times
Thanks

- Those stats depend on the 2nd-to-last episode, which hasn't aired, we need a reliable source before it can be added. Do you have one? —dgiestc 06:20, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
I do remember that in Cycle 8, the Call-Out means was updated from about mid season and after every episode there after. Nemle22 18:06, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
For some reason it says Ambreal's name twice on the call out order on the episode Ambreal was saved when Ebony was quit. It used to say Ebony in one of the slots, so apparently someone felt the need to change it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.102.2 (talk) 02:24, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ebony's surname
Why was Ebony's surname removed from the article? It was on here for a couple of hours and then omitted.
There may not be a text source to cite but she said her last name herself in tonight's episode. At the end of the episode after she had left they showed a clip from her audition video where she states her last name as Morgan. That's proof enough to me, haha. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.241.223.36 (talk) 10:09, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Cycle9promo.jpg
Image:Cycle9promo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] The Girl Who Runs Into The Glass Door
First off, Jenah wasn't the girl who ran into the glass door. It was Bianca as she cleverly put it, "it was very clean".
The summary hasn't been written after two days and it's usually written a few hours after. So... as a suggestion, I think some points to include are, the 33 finalists have a fashion checkpoint in the Carribean where they throw away their icky clothes, Bianca running into the door and damaging her lip, Jenah chipping a tooth in the pool and getting it fixed, Bianca's unseen fights like her versus Heather, Chantal and the toilet, which Janet helped her unclog, Ambreal's fear of hair, Jenah's prank on Sarah by pulling off her bikini top and the revealing of secrets circle thing. Hmm.
Should the point of during the flower recap, Victoria's neck wrinkles on her photo were removed when shown but in the flower episode, it was still there. Citation needed? Sireafi 01:07, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- Wasn't it Bianca who clogged the toilet and not Chantal? --4.241.33.73 00:13, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- It was. I was saying Bianca fought Heather, Chantal and the toilet, not Chantal who clogged the toilet. Hehe. Sireafi 01:14, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ebony/Ambreal Episode 6
In the call-out order chart I noticed that some users have been placing Ebony in the bottom box and Ambreal above her. This is just my opinion but I feel that instead it should go in the way that the order was actually called out. In the ceremony, Ebony was chosen to remain in the competition thus eliminating Ambreal. While Ebony refused the photo resulting in excusing herself from the show, she was still called to stay over Ambreal. Both of their boxes should have unique colors and keys to indicate the situation but to stay true to the original intended order I feel that Ebony should be placed above Ambreal. Though Ambreal was given a free pass she was still technically called last. --4.241.216.237 09:11, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lisa won the reward challenge?
I don't think you could really say that. She didn't actually do anything. It was just based on her looks. 24.85.132.54 —Preceding comment was added at 02:46, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- There wasn't any other challenge in the episode and it did serve as one. Models are going to face competition just based on what the client wants and what they can tell by appearance. The challenge itself wasn't clear but it seemed like one. Sireafi 05:04, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Saleisha the Shroom - Cut or Weave?
The makeovers say a Louise Brooks Inspired Bob Cut when it's not. During the episode, she gets the weave treatment. Ms. J even jokes around with her by banging the palm of his hand against his head. This is usually done when you get a weave. Also, Saleisha's hair is put in braids, which is also done for a weave. Once again, they sew her hair in. There's a difference between a 'cut' and a 'weve' and I believe it should be a 'Louise Brooks Inspired Weave' instead of the current one. Sireafi 06:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lisa's Height
It has been confirmed that she is five foot two inches. Please do not change it back and forth now that we know. Sireafi 01:54, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- Chantal is not taller than Lisa. Watch http://youtube.com/watch?v=HsK1SasPodg at 0:04 Lisa and Chantal are not wearing heeled shoes, on the same flat surface AND Lisa's bending her knees. Even with bent knees, she's taller than Chantal. < http://i3.tinypic.com/7x27k0p.png > Here's the screenshot. Sireafi (talk) 01:51, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Is there a source stating Lisa's height?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.105.157.220 (talk) 02:41, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
In an interview with FORT, Janet said that Lisa was 6'2 and thus was "perfect for modeling" this is the source http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forums/official-articles/68807-america-s-next-top-model-9-media-conference-call-janet-10-18-07-a.html maybe you should put a quote number (like [4] or sth like that...because they keep changing it).Lucia (talk) 17:58, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- To say that Lisa is the tallest contestant, you need not only Lisa's height but also the heights of all of the other contestants. Do we have sources stating the heights of all the contestants, or only Lisa's? Eatcacti (talk) 22:35, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
well...actually not...but with the videos you can see that lisa and chantal were the tallest ones...and in that interview it says the height of both chantal and lisa...plus in all the interviews for FORT the girls are asked for their heights!! anyway...FORT is great for the heights of the girls Lucia (talk) 10:46, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lisa/Saleisha Surnames
Somebody has put down Cosse as Lisa's surname and Cooper as Saleisha's. These are among several false surnames that circulated around Wikipedia by vandals when the girls were first revealed. Which usually happens at the start of each cycle. The user did indeed source them, but from sources which get their surname information from here. Both Poptower.com AND IMDB rely on user-submitted information, making it easy for rumors and false data to be spread. To my knowledge, they even still list Brittany's (Cycle 8) surname as Carrigher, when it's been confirmed time and time again that her last name is Hatch. Those sources are unreliable. Lisa nor Saleisha's last names have yet to be discovered. ---- 4.241.219.9 (talk) 21:36, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- In addition, Chantal's last name has not been revealed either. Sireafi (talk) 16:11, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Hey i just checked out CW's page and i found that they "know" Lisa's, Chantal's and Saleisha's surnames...here is the source http://lounge.cwtv.com/showthread.php?t=43494&page=446 maybe one of you could check if this is right and put the surnames...just in case. I wont do it cause i have no way of confirming if it is right. Anyway byebyeLucia (talk) 18:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- The problem with that is that it's actually a forum user who is posting the names. If it was the CW itself posting the names, then it would be a different story altogether. Eatcacti (talk) 21:06, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Lisa's surname is Jackson. There are at least two sources which confirm this, and I have added the sources. CarlosTheDwarf (talk) 07:46, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

I've asked her on myspace. "oh wow, umm I'm 114lbs if that answers ur question" lol! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talk • contribs) 23:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Your asking her on Myspace doesn't constitute as a reliable source. First of all, there's no proof other than your word that you asked her and she responded, and second, there's no proof that it is actually her. And third, you need sources for the weights of all the other contestants to show that she is indeed the lightest! Eatcacti (talk) 23:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- In this interview, Victoria says that she weighs 110 pounds. However, since we don't know if other contestants weigh less than Victoria or not, I do not think the section should be there. CarlosTheDwarf (talk) 07:48, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

The article I linked to in my other comment in this section does NOT prove that she is the lightest. Unless there's a reliable source out there listing the weights of the other girls or if I've misread the article, then Victoria should not be listed as the lightest contestant. what do yall think? Should Heather have her own page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talk • contribs) 18:59, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Before you make it, you should be sure that you have enough sources to prove that she is notable. I think she is notable, but I'm also 100% sure that her notability will be challenged by someone, so it's best to be prepared. There have been quite a few articles about her in major news sources, so that's a start. See [2] and Wikipedia:Notability (Reality Television participants). Eatcacti 22:13, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

- Note, spoilers don't mean anything unless they are from someone reliable. I really doubt Tyra would tell her friends who a Top Model winner is. She's really, really protective of this. She makes the girls sign contracts. I doubt she'd tell a friend. Unless a reliable source is provided, don't believe them. Please refrain from making flaming comments at someone, even if you are using it as a method of retaliation. Sireafi (talk) 21:33, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

- Actually, it is possible for someone to "freaking" stop you. Please refrain from using the talk page to post flaming comments. By the way, we have no proof you are Tyra's friend. Even if Saleisha is the cycle's winner, we need a reliable source such as the CW or Seventeen. Saleisha's suppose last name, Cooper, is from PopTower and IMDB, which are the last sources someone from Wikipedia would use as a reference. They require user submitted information and do not require citations. Give citations, reliable ones too. Sireafi (talk) 21:29, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Also please see WP:NOR for Wikipedia's policy on original research. In short, it's not allowed. So even if Tyra personally told you who won (which, by the way, I highly doubt), you are not allowed to edit the winner into the article. Eatcacti (talk) 01:22, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heather CGOTW
In the stats section, where it says "Contestant with the most CoverGirl of the Week wins" should we add after Heather's name "once after being eliminated" or something to that matter? I believe that this is the first time that has happened. I am not sure if that is a record as well, 9 consecutive times. Is it all right to add that fact?69.90.207.137 (talk) 03:46, 9 December 2007 (UTC) samusek2
- Unnecessary. In the callout order, it says something to the account of, In Episode 12, Heather won CGotW despite being eliminated the week before, which was a Top Model first. Naima had 10 consecutive times. Also, the CGotW allows the girl who is eliminated to still be vote for the week after because their polls are targeted at the week before. Like... For the second elimination, Mila would still be in CGotW pool because CG does a rating for the first elimination week. Er. Sireafi (talk) 04:13, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh Cool. I did not see that. Thanks. However , would it be fine to add the fact on the mother page America's Next Top Model under "Other Contestants" due to this being the first time in the show's history up to now?69.90.207.137 (talk) 23:33, 9 December 2007 (UTC) samusek2
[edit] Saleisha Controversy
Don't you think something should be put in about Saleisha being handpicked to win this season by Tyra, despite the fact that she should have been disqualified under eligibility rule #10? Saleisha was in Tyra's T-zone camp, was in a previous cycle's runway show, was in a fashion show on Tyra's talkshow, and was in a Wendy's commercial last year. I think Tyra and the show in general will get significant backlash in terms of viewers giving up on this being an actual modeling competition, and see it for the "unreality" TV it is. 66.194.17.94 (talk) 17:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Hm...lets see..for starters we dont even know if Saleisha wins this Cycle...and plus there is no source saying that Tyra "handpicked" Saleisha to win this cycle...that's you speculating on the winner and on Tyra's doings or not. So NO...i dont think we should do that Lucia (talk) 18:08, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Whether Saleisha wins or not, she should have never even been allowed on the show. See http://www.cwtv.com/images/topmodel/antm_cycle11_eligibility.pdf #10. And it's not like Tyra can claim ignorance. 66.194.17.94 (talk) 19:10, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
yeah i checked it out but you can't put anything in the page (in my opinion i mean i have no power over here...ask the mods) but that has nothing to do for me i mean..we dont even know if she wins for god sakes...and she can be here because it said "limited to" and that you had to terminate all previous arrangements before getting in (and she did)Lucia (talk) 20:27, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think that if the issue becomes a big deal then it should probably be included. Right now it's not really a big deal, it's just one blog complaining. Though if Saleisha does win, there may be some news articles that include the issue so then it should definitely be included on her page when it's created, and to a lesser extent here. Eatcacti (talk) 22:01, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Since she just won, I think it should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.84.121.186 (talk) 17:42, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that since she won this info should of be in here. Heres another link that talks about whats going on. http://www6.comcast.net/entertainment/articles/eonline/2007/12/13/c40a8f75-b186-4613-94f1-cddfb07ddbf7/?cvqh=itn_topmodel 71.201.70.16 (talk) 23:16, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
This needs to be addressed because several Wiki-quality news sources are running the story. Here's a few more:
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-next-top-model/americas-next-top-model-the-ch-14734.aspx?pollid=1000342&answer=1001455#poll1000342 http://www.eonline.com/news/article/index.jsp?uuid=c40a8f75-b186-4613-94f1-cddfb07ddbf7&sid=fd-hot3-txt http://www.egossip.com/tv/america-s-next-top-model-was-cycle-9-rigged-3870
I think there needs to be a section either here or in the main ANTM article included with the criticism. Because it's the only thing getting as much press as Heather Kuzmich. Rebochan (talk) 00:03, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chantal's last name
This and this (both articles from the Austin-American Statesman, and both by the same author) say that Chantal's last name is Jones. It is on the basis of these articles that Jones has been included here and on the main ANTM article. However, I just found this from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram which gives her name as Chantal Albeknowe. Both of these seem like reliable newspapers, though the Fort Worth Star-Telegram is a much bigger newspaper for whatever it's worth. I think one of these newspapers must have gotten it wrong (unless there's a weird situation where she goes by both names). At this point I'm almost inclined to think that the Statesman got it wrong just because the articles are in the "blog" section on their site, but then again, according to whitepages.com there is no person with the last name Albeknowe in the entire country! So, does anyone else have an opinion on this? Eatcacti (talk) 22:13, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Albeknowe is definitely fake. Whenever it is used, they use Chantaline as her first name. Her first name is actually Heather, with Chantal as her middle name. Went by Chantal due to Heather Kuzmich appearing in the same cycle.--theblueflamingoSquawk 05:58, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
well the source for that is this http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forums/official-articles/70468-america-s-next-top-model-9-media-conference-call-interview-chantal-12-13-07-a.html her interview...which was posted today or yesterday XOX and have a good day Lucia (talk) 11:21, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Jenah Doucette
Why was Jenah's page deleted? For cycle 10 Tyra really needs to appear more on the show. Maybe she could coach the girls a little like on cycles 1 and 2? Just a thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talk • contribs) 23:31, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Jenah's page was deleted because, as of right now at least, she is not not notable enough to get one. Dreaded St0DaD 16:53, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Is there a reference that says that Sarah is 150 pounds? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talk • contribs) 02:05, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but this is obvious vandalism...I wonder if there is a way we can report this as vandalism...

[edit] Heather's posthumous CGOTW win
Please do not add Heather's name in episode 12 of the call-out table. She was not in the episode, thus she was not called out. The fact that she won CGOTW despite having been eliminated the week before can be mentioned elsewhere in the article, but it does not make sense to claim that she was called out when she was not there. ... discospinster talk 02:35, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cycle 9 Vandalism
Just a suggestion to fix up the recently vandalized call-out order on Cycle 9 for somebody who has time and skill at tables. Thanks! Argentak (talk) 10:53, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think this shows that we really need to semi-lock this page. People are too pissed at Saleisha, really.

[edit] Edited Cycle 9 Table
I really have no idea how to fix the table itself, but Saleisha's name is now all over the page, whether it was 'Suckleisha' or not.
Terra (talk) 16:24, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Okay someone fixed it, that awesome person should totally take their credit Terra (talk) 17:43, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Rigged
In the reason why Victoria was eliminated, it says it was rigged for Saleisha? Is it vandalism or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agunimon (talk • contribs) 08:59, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism
Would someone who knows how the last two episodes actually went please change those? Is it really necessary to say that Jenah won? I wanted it, too. I don't know the reason exactly why Jenah was sent home, so someone fix it.Terraskye 17:10, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Callout Order is MESSED UP!!!!
it doesn't say that Ambreal was the original eliminee but she got saved when Ebony quit and when Heather was Covergirl of the Week but she still got eliminated, the background should be cyan, not pink. That's the color 4 when Ambreal got saved. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.112.221.166 (talk) 18:57, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
