[edit] Failed "good article" nomination
This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of May 15, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:
- 1. Well written?: First off, the lead for this article is insufficient. More than one should be used to explain what the article is about. Also, what's the point for the list of committee members? I don't see how it contributes significantly to the article.
- 2. Factually accurate?: Contains a variety of good sources.
- 3. Broad in coverage?: Lacking in thoroughness. A large section of the article is nothing more than a list of members of the committee. On that matter, I could not quite figure out what the article was supposed to be about. Does it have to do with a specific amendment to the Constitution of Iraq? Is it devoted to the process of amending the constitution? The committee that evaluates proposed constitutional amendments?
- 4. Neutral point of view?: I see no problems here.
- 5. Article stability? No significant updates since last December? Assuming no change has been made regarding constitutional amendments over there, such as new ones introduced, new processes, etc. (I honestly am not as aware of that information), then this is fine.
- 6. Images?: None included. Possible suggestions include committee meetings regarding amendments, documents proposing constitutional amendments, etc.
When these issues are addressed, the article can be resubmitted for consideration. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to a GA review. Thank you for your work so far. — Johnny06man 18:11, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
