From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My drawing of Juan de Amezquita based on the following criteria: 1. I am a military historian recognized by the Government of Puerto Rico and ANSO, but I know that isn't important.

2. The uniform in the imae is based on those used by the Captain's of the Puerto Rican militia at the time as evidenced by Capt. Antonio de los Reyes Correa.

3. The Physical features of the subject were derived from those of Jose Andiono y Amezquita, a direct descendent of Juan de Mezquita, born in 1751.
