There are a couple inaccurate entries here. The following dishes ARE NOT Chinese-American but rather proper Chinese dishes:

• Cashew Chicken
• Chow Mein
• Egg Drop soup
• Fried Rice
• Kung Pao Chicken
• Lo Mein
• Yang-chow Fried Rice
• Shrimp Toast (this is not traditional Chinese but rather a Hong Kong dish invented through the fusion of western and Chinese cuisine).
