American Systems Invitational
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The American Systems Invitational is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the FUTURES Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event was for the first time in 2008 at the Legends Course at LPGA International Golf Club in Daytona, Florida.
The title sponsor of the tournament is American Systems, a professional, technical and IT services company with headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia.
The Tournament is a 54-hole event, as are most FUTURES Tour tournaments, and includes pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour as a benefit for local charities. Daytona Beach Duramed FUTURES Classic is the American Lung Association of Florida.
