American National Ballet

The American National Ballet was a ballet company and school located in Duluth, Minnesota. The company was founded by Artistic Director Armando Maldonado in 2001. The company performed works in an eclectic mix of styles, incorporating elements of jazz and modern dance styles into their performances. The company was forced to close due to a lack of funding in October, 2006

The American National Ballet was one of two ballet companies in Duluth, the other being the Minnesota Ballet.
