American Express Plum Card
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Plum Card is a charge card issued by American Express' OPEN small business network in 2007. It offers an early pay discount to those who pay within ten days of the statement closing date, of 2% for balances above $5,000, and 1% for for balances below. The trade terms on the card allow customers to pay 10% of the new balance by the first please-pay-by date and revolve the remaining balance only until the next please-pay-by date. Cardholders are allowed one extra card fee free, every card thereafter costs $45.[1]
Initially there will be only 10,000 cards issued.
In March 2008, American Express announced to Plum card members the formation of the new Plum advisory board. The board will allow cardholders to voice their experiences, share ideas, and interact with other plum members.[2]
