American Casino

American Casino was a American reality television series. The show originally aired on the Discovery Channel, but in June 2005, it was moved to The Travel Channel. The series tracks the daily events of the managers and employees of the Green Valley Ranch Casino resort in Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas.

The show began airing in 2004 and was loosely patterned after Discovery Channel's successful American Chopper reality show.

Relatively free of interpersonal drama, episodes have included a behind the scenes look during rock concerts, slot promotions, blackjack tournaments, weddings, and other events.

One episode followed memorial events after the sudden death of Michael Tata, one of the shows subjects. Tata, 33, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose in July 2004.[1]
