America was an afternoon talk show that aired on CBS from September 16, 1985 until January 3, 1986. The show was hosted by Stuart Damon, Sarah Purcell, and McLean Stevenson. Charlie O'Donnell, best known as the announcer on many game shows, including Wheel of Fortune, was the announcer. The show was distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Poor ratings caused the show's cancellation. It was replaced on the network's daytime schedule by Press Your Luck, which had moved from the 10:30 AM ET/PT slot to the 4:00 PM ET/PT slot to make room for a revival of Card Sharks.
