Amenemhat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The name Amenemhat or Amenemhet refers primarily to the four kings 12th Dynasty of the Egyptian Middle Kingdom. All 4 rulers were immensely powerful Pharaohs who ruled over a united Egypt. There was also an early 13th Dynasty Second Intermediate Period king named Amenemhat V but little is known of his reign.

Amenemhat was also the name of the Heir Apparent of Amenhotep I, however he died before taking the throne, and of the nomarch buried in tomb 2 at Beni Hasan.
