"Amen" is the second single from Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus[1]. Kid Rock boasts that this is the greatest song he has ever written.[2] The song touches on such subjects as poverty, war, race relations, corrupt politicians and hypocritical pastors. The song features the gospel choir, The Fisk Jubilee Singers. It was released to radio November 5, 2007. It is currently No 11 on Billboards Mainstream Rock Tracks, and No 27 on the modern rock charts. Photographer David Tunnley, who has a Pulitzer Prize to his credit, directed the music video. The song has garnered much attention from news media outlets as a piece about the video and Kid Rock's political views were featured on ABC news in February 2008.
