Amelia del Carmen Carballo Moreno (born February 8, 1951), is a Cuban artist.
She was born in Havana, Cuba. In 1972 she studied sculpture at Escuela de Bellas Artes "San Alejandro"

[edit] Individual Exhibitions
In 1982 she presented her pieces in an exhibition at the Art Museum of Nueva Gerona, Isla de la Juventud,Cuba. In 1991 shows"Naturaleza casi muerta". Art Gallery, Matanzas, Cuba. Two years later, in 1993 she presented her work again in Nueva Gerona, Isla de la Juventud, Cuba.

Her works had been included in many collective exhibitions, among them we can mention in 1986 IV Quadriennale des Kunst Handwerks Sozialisticher Länder. Internationalen Gartnbauausstellung (IGA), Erfurt, Germnay. In the same year she participated in a collective exhibition of Cuban ceramic during the II Bienal de la Habana , (Havanna Biennial). In 1987 she was part of the Cuban group at the II World Triennial Mundial of ceramic in Zagreb, Yugoslavia . She also has been an active participant in the Biennial of Ceramic "Amelia Pelaez" celebrated each year in Havana , Cuba.

She had obteined several awards during her carrer, among them we can quote the first prize in the Municipal Saloon of Arts , Isla de la Juventud,1986. At the next year she obteined the Honor metion in the II World Triennial Mundial of ceramic in Zagreb, Yugoslavia. She was also distinguish with the Award Biennial of Ceramic "Amelia Pelaez", Castillo de la Real Fuerza, Havana, Cuba. 1991.
