Ameinocles

Ameinocles (Greek:Αμεινόκλης) 8th century BC was a Corinthian shipbuilder (Naupegus) and inventor of the Trireme. He is said to have built four ships for the ancient Samians, having visited Samos Island some 300 years prior to the conclusion of the Peloponnesian War.
