Amebis is a Slovenian company specialized in electronic publishing and in software in the field of language technologies. They have published a number of electronic dictionaries and lexicons, and developed spell checkers, grammar checkers, hyphenators and lemmatizers for Slovenian, Serbian and Albanian languages. As their products it is worth to mention the largest corpus of Slovene language, called FIDAPLUS, and the ASP(32) dictionaries used by the majority of Slovenes.
One of the Amebis products is also Govorec (developed in co-operation with IJS), a speech synthetizer and text reader for blind and weak-sighted people.
