[edit] Proposed merge of Ambarish into this article

On the test of Google hits, Ambarish (108,000 hits) seems to outscore Ambareesh (13,000) by a factor of 10. However, some of the hits for Ambarish pertain to Ambarisha; Also, as seen in the homepage on Indian Parliament website, the actual spelling is "Ambareesh." News media from the South India, such as The Hindu also spell his name in the same way. Hence, I propose that this article be retained at this location and Ambarish be treated as a duplicate article to be merged here. I'd go ahead with the merger after waiting for a week for the comments. Thanks, --Gurubrahma 14:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Retaining this article and providing redirect from Ambarish sounds more appropriate. - KNM Talk 02:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
