Ambrorose Marasha

Ambrorose Marasha (b. c. 1979) is a Zimbabwean sculptor.
Marasha attended primary school in Nyanga and high school in Mutare. He began sculpting in clay before moving to wood. He left school to apprentice himself to his cousins Passmore and Tinei Massaya, withi whom he learned the art of stone sculpture. He works primarily in hard local stones such as leopard rock and springstone.
