Ambohimilanja is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Manandriana, which is a part of Amoron'i Mania Region in Fianarantsoa Province. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 6,000 in 2001 commune census.[2]

Only primary schooling is available. Farming and raising livestock provides employment for 48.5% and 48.5% of the working population. The most important crop is rice, while other important products are maize and sweet potatos. Services provide employment for 3% of the population.[2]
