Amber Air was an airline based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It operated scheduled services and executive and charter flights. Its main base was Palanga International Airport. It has suspended scheduled services by the end of October 2007 when it has given up its Palanga-Hamburg route.
[edit] History
The airline was established in December 2004 and started operations on 23 December 2004.[1] After its main rival, Air Lithuania went bankrupt, Amber Air has increased its flights, in and out of Palanga International Airport, by taking over Air Lithuania's routes to Hamburg, Germany.[citation needed]
[edit] Destinations
In June 2005 scheduled services were added between Palanga, Billund and Warsaw.[1] Currently Amber Air is operating scheduled flights from Palanga International Airport, to Hamburg, Germany.[citation needed]
