The American Business Association of Russian Professionals (AmBAR) is a non-profit organization founded to support the Russian-speaking professional community in the United States. [1][2] The organization's headquarters is located in Palo Alto, California.

The AmBAR was founded in 2002 by a group of experienced technology entrepreneurs and business professionals from the Silicon Valley companies and venture capital firms such as Sun Microsystems, Intel Capital, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

As of February 2007, the AmBAR reported a membership of over 2000 members. Among the members of the organization there are entrepreneurs, engineers, marketers, lawyers, finance specialists, venture capitalists and angel investors.
AmBAR is an organizer of the Silicon Valley Open Doors (SVOD) technology investment conference which takes place annually in Silicon Valley (California, USA). [3]
