Always Leaving is the title of a 2001 compilation album by Kenny Rogers, issued on the Starburst Records label.
The album contains 16 songs that Rogers recorded as lead vocalist of The First Edition (from which he was a member from 1967 to 1976) and contains mostly album cuts and b-sides with a few hit singles as well. The final cut on the album, "I Found a Reason” was the first single the group ever issued, with other early recordings being “All God’s Lonely Children” and “Hurry Up Love”, while "Calico Silver" represents their 1972 cult double album The Ballad of Calico. "A Stranger in My Place", "Good Time Liberator" and "Girl, Get a Hold of Yourself" represent some of the songs that Rogers wrote in the group, while "But You Know I Love You", "Just Dropped In" and "Heed the Call" were all Top 40 chart singles.
Like many (but certainly not all) compilations of this material the album only credits Rogers as the performer, although all songs are with The First Edition.
