[edit] My Contrubutions

I have really small facts about things and I don't know where to put them. For example I wrote an artiicle on the Intihuatana Stone but I only had some facts. I'll come back with more but for now I don't have anything. Can anyone help me? What happened all the facts I wrote in the page went out and I wasn't accused of vandalism! Now I understand it's ok. There are many sites that say that Machu Picchu was found in 1911 and Ididn't get that information from there. I got it from going to Machu Picchu and talking with the tour guide. Anyways it didn't collapse because of the spanish empire. A history book says that and please believe me. I have studied Machu Picchu for a long time Alvarosv (talk) 17:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

:Please stop adding unsourced material to the Machu Pichu article. You simply cannot say "I got this from a website" - that is patently not a reliable source. Did you read our policy on verfiability yet? Please go and read it now, it is central to how Wikipedia operates. You must cite independent, published sources for information you add to articles. In general personal websites are not acceptable. Even the everything.com website is dubious. You certainly can't just claim "I found this on a website" without specifying which website in a proper citation. Thanks, Gwernol 17:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I did specify the website.--Alvarosv (talk) 16:58, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
So you did, sorry, I missed the paragraph in the everything2.com article. I've struck the remark above. Gwernol 18:04, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I created a new page called Polònia and I see you needed it. It's not yet finished but I need to work on it a bit more. --Alvarosv (talk) 19:03, 20 March 2008 (UTC) Please look at it--Alvarosv (talk) 19:10, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
