[edit] Questions

I consulted Jeremy Gaige, Chess Personalia (1987), to try to source some of the basic biographical data in the article. Gaige agrees with our article on date of birth, but gives Ventspils as the birthplace rather than Sigulda. Gaige also gives 1980 as the year of the IM title (we have 1984). Our article agrees with Alvis Vitolinsh at ChessGames.com. Unfortunately although chessgames is helpful, it isn't really reliable. Does anyone have any other sources that might help determine which information is correct? Quale (talk) 11:32, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
