[edit] Six weeks
"He gained fame for traveling 240 miles ... At a top speed of five miles per hour, the journey took six weeks." If his average speed was, shall we say, 2.5 mph, that implies he was only driving for about 16 hours a week. Did he stop for long periods? Lfh 15:35, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- The movie says that it was 370 miles distance. Google Maps says that the shortest path would be about 270 miles. I don't know who to believe. He did stop for a few days to get his lawn mower fixed, and his first lawn mower broke down at the beginning and needed replacing. — BRIAN0918 • 2008-03-07 04:15Z
