The Striker was developed for the British Army. It was developed to fire Swingfire missiles. The first production vehicles delivered in 1975 and used in British Army service by the Royal Armoured Corps. Mounted roof rear is a launcher box for five wire guided Matra BAe Dynamics Swingfire ATGWs with HEAT warhead and range of 4000m.
