Alvin Lee (born January 23, 1980) is a Canadian-born comic book artist. Alvin Lee's distinctive, punchy, manga styled art, was one of the forefront artists that popularized the Japanese anime influence in the American comic book industry during the early 2000s. Most notably, Alvin along with Gail Simone was the original creators of Agent X. [1]
Alvin Lee is not related to Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Pat Lee, or Jae Lee, four other prominent names in the North American comic book industry.
Lee has worked under major comic book publishers including Image Comics under the UDON label, UDON studios as an independent publisher, Marvel Comics, DC Comics & Wildstorm.

[edit] Early Work as Inker
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Alvin Lee started his comic book career at a young age of 17. Alvin started working as an comic book inker for mostly Pat Lee's art, co-founder of now defunct Dreamwave Productions. Alvin Lee worked on titles such as the Dark Minds, Neon Cyber, & most notably the Warlands Series. His first comic as penciller was for Warlands:Banished Knights.
[edit] UDON Entertainment, DC Wildstorm & Marvel Comics
In 2001, Lee joined UDON as a lead artist with the revival of Capcom's Street Fighter comic books and Darkstalkers comic books. His talent has also led to the game art of two Capcom videogame titles, Capcom Fighting Jam and the re-release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. UDON was also an independent publisher and worked as a contract studio releasing a few of Marvel & Wildstorm titles, Alvin was responsible for the Deadpool / Agent X redesign & Taskmaster new costume design in 2002[2], Marvel Mangaverse: Avengers Assemble! #1, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, & Fantastic Four (3rd Series) #50 and with Wildstorm Gen 13 Issue #7.
Lee has left the UDON Entertainment group as of mid-2007, and has worked with Marvel since. Most recently, Alvin has released Marvel's Heroes for Hire issues # 14 & 15 filling in for Marvel penciller Clay Mann.
