Alvin Franklin

Alvin Franklin was the successor to Rob Williams as the starting point guard for Phi Slamma Jamma, the nickname of the basketball powerhouse at the University of Houston during the early to mid 1980s.

Franklin hailed from Lamarque, Texas and was a Texas high school standout. He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the fourth round of the 1986 NBA Draft.
