Alvecote is a settlement of North Warwickshire, England. Commonly considered as a village, Alvecote shares its boundaries with Amington, Shuttington and Polesworth. Alvecote has a priory and a marina on the Coventry Canal with many facilities including boat repair, pumpout and a licensed bar. The west coast main line runs through the settlement. The nearest train station is in Polesworth, where passengers can catch trains to Nuneaton and London Euston. The nearest church is in Shuttington.
