Alv Erlingsson

Alv Erlingsson (died 1290) was a Norwegian baron and jarl, born in Tornberg, Norderhov, Buskerud. It is said he was a favorite of the Queen, yet committed countless acts of piracy throughout his life including seizing and robbing German vessels, making an attack on Duke Håkon, the younger brother of the Norwegian king, and attacking Denmark. Alv Erlingsson was eventually exiled for his acts.
