Talk:Alton College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"However, whilst Alton is annually plced amung the top 5 colleges nationally, Farnham rates no where near this well. This can be explained away by the fact that students of Alton are generally inteligent contientious people who care about their future, whilst Farnham students are forced to pass around the one good brain cell at exam times, because of their juevenile and pathetic minds." ?
Below the belt, gosh! Did not know you were so jealous of Farnham. Sorry.
- Right. However, pasting it back into the article and writing a commentary on it doesn't really make this a better article about Alton College. Self-references (i.e. back to Wikipedia) are generally a bad thing, and trying to use what is, essentially, a vandalised version of the article as evidence of rivalry between colleges isn't really going to stand up. If there is really a serious rivalry between the colleges, there must be some external sources you can cite. That really would improve the article. --rbrwr± 21:58, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Is this the best thing we can do with our lives? Ok all rivalry forgotten, I’m off to kick a foot ball around with my friends, and have some fun! Well maybe tomorrow. BTW thanks 4 taking the Farnham college link off. I think my addition was a well written and unbiased piece of journalism, my work will never be appreciated until I pass away (like all profound artists and writers) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.43.67.207 (talk)
[edit] Assessment
I have assesed this article to help in it's future expansion. The feedback I gave was; This article contains a large amount of information with some structure. However, it clearly needs to be expanded with some references needed. It also needs a cleanup to fit in more with the Wikipedia house style, especially with section headings.
