Talk:Althoff Catholic High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] Copyvio

The substance of the article is copied directly from the school web site. There are no earlier versions of the page that are good candidates for reversion as they are primarily just an infobox with no substantial text of merit. -- Whpq 13:25, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Update - User:Buckie2889 left a message on my talk page indicating that he had permission to copy the text, but there is no proof. I've asked him to follow the procedures for requesting permission to use copyrighted text, or in the alternate, write the article in his own words. -- Whpq 16:43, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
It wouldn't matter, even if the school improbably wished to license the text under the GFDL: The text is inherently non-neutral and not appropriate for an encyclopedia, being copied from the school website. —Centrxtalk • 14:35, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page Updated

I rewrote the page from scratch so that it does not contain any copyright violation. Bfg818 22:16, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

I deleted the copyvio and moved the re-write over. —Centrxtalk • 14:35, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
