A couple of comments:

I don't know if there is an English term for this fashion, but I doubt it. "Old german dress" or "Old German costume" perhaps? I'm not sure either term quite conveys the meaning of the German Tracht, so perhaps it is better to leave the title in German and give a couple of vague alternative translations in the beginning.

The German original of this article includes a longish but interesting quote by Wilhelm Hauff, which I have not quite been able to translate into decent English yet. Somebody else might want to give it a try? Pharamond 10:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Another comment: I would guess that Count von Sztáray (or Sztarray, as the german Wikipedia had it) is to be identified as the general Anton Graf Sztáray von Nagy-Mihaly.[1] Pharamond 07:17, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
