Description
  • Altarpiece of the church of the Teutonic Knights (Deutschordenskirche) in Vienna, Austria. It was originally from the church of Our Lady (Gdansk,Poland).
  • Flemish winged triptych attributed to the polychromer Jan van Wavere in 1520. The artists that made the woodcarvings and paintings are unkwown.
  • The signature I. V. Wavere is stamped on to the small columns enclosing the central compartment.
  • Vivid woodcarvings scenes from the Passion of Christ.
