The 240 megawatt (MW) Alto Minho Wind Farm is under construction in the Viana do Castelo district of Portugal. This wind farm will consist of 136 MW of Enercon E-82 wind turbines and 104 MW Enercon E-70 E4 turbines.[1]
In March 2007, there was 1,874 MW of wind power generating capacity installed in Portugal, with another 908 MW under construction.[2]
