AlterFiction, Inc., was incorporated in September 2004. It was founded by Anup Hariharan Nair & Dennis Kashi, 2 Computer Science postgraduates with their team of six partners.
AlterFiction's current senior management team includes CEO& Chairman Anup Hariharan Nair,Chief System architects include Dennis Kashi and Pravinkumar Singh. Chief Analyst, Arnab Bhattacharya.

The licensing terms for applications have changed for the 2008 versions. The Personal and Business licenses are no longer available. Only the enterprise license remains.The pricing for the 2008 version has doubled in some cases, continuing concerns among users, mostly small businesses, that the software is becoming less affordable.There have been many reported bug issues with the CMS system.Some clients also claim that the company is small and incompetent in delivering solution and services.
