Talk:Alpha Chi Alpha
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have read and understand many of the concerns and comments of the people who are offended or upset by this recent infusion of "Dartmouth detritus" on Wikipedia, but I believe this page to be notable and hopefully it will weather the storm. Please edit it or wikify it as is custom, I am not opposed to any help offered. I personally feel that if the page is well written and factual, but not something that interests you, you may as well leave it to be found by someone else who is interested in the subject matter. Whether or not it is notable is up to the consensus of users more involved than myself, but I am doing what I can to improve the writing and facts on the page. So along those lines, please help me to make this article better and as neutral as possible. Thank you from a new and intrigued user.
You'll note that this is one of the few articles of the Dartmouth detritus that has not been listed on Votes for deletion. However, it does need to be cleaned up so as to match the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. And there still hasn't been an answer to my question as to whether this fraternity ONLY exists at Dartmouth. When I graduated in 1987 it existed ONLY at Dartmouth. I recieve the newsletter each year and have seen nothing to indicate otherwise. I recently edited the page to say Magic _Green_ Cottage instead of Magic Cottage. Did someone change this back? Has the nickname of the house changed since '87?
The nickname is still the Magic Green Cottage. The fraternity is local and unique to Dartmouth. --Classics 08:33, July 27, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] what the heck is "The Ramos?"
i was a '90 and a barn dweller at that softmore summer and senior year. never heard of The Ramos, but otherwise i think the article is excellent and a service to the house and to the completeness of the wiki.
thanks for the effort on it and thanks to the no-delete votes.

[edit] Neutrality Tag?
I believe this article doesn't require this tag. I will make sure that things are appropriately sourced, and if no one disagrees, I will remove it. -Bonus Onus (talk) 18:19, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
