[edit] Pyramid of Ice?
Is that big pyramid really ice or, as "alpamayo" suggests, earthen with an icy coating? Sfahey 16:48, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
It read "pyramid of ice" since the article was created. I would think it's safe to say it's a mountain made up of rocks and not an iceblock. Also, on the picture you can see rock surface on a few points on the mountain. How do you want to reword it? Lukas 00:03, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- It's the Paramount logo mountain. Not kidding you!

Actually, I'd argue Alpa Mayo deserves a High importance rating, not for its climbing importance, even though it is an insanely popular climb, but it is well known, with many products named after it, and it has been named the "most beautiful mountain of the world".
However, it is not the Paramount logo mountain, that's Artesonraju, which is nearby and is about the same elevation. There is a picture on the page that someone wrote is Artesonraju, it might be, I'm one of the few people who have been in the range without seeing it... --Kjetil Kjernsmo (talk) 20:30, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
