Image:Alphen-Rijnplein.JPG

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This photo shows Julianastreet under construction. The tree in the middle of this picture marks the new public square named 'Rijnplein'.

The orange building in the back and the multi-colored facades on the right are apartmentbuildings with shops and restaurants on ground level. The grey building on the front left is the theatre/cinema called "Castellum". The name castellum comes from the Dutch definition for an ancient Roman garrison.

Remains of the same were found in the town center during the early phases of construction.
