Alpha Indi (α Ind / α Indi) is a Class K0, third-magnitude star in the constellation Indus. It was called The Persian, a name given to it by Jesuit missionaries during the late 17th Century. It is transliterated in a Chinese asterism Pe Sze (波斯). It is mistranslated in the Latin constellation name Indus.

Alpha Indi is an orange giant star within a multiple star system. It is located about 100 light-years from Earth.
