The latest version now incorporates Portable SQL, a feature that allows users to switch database back ends without having to rewrite queries[4]. Alpha Five V9 PLATINUM - released in March 2008 is designed to build both desktop and AJAX enabled web database applications. For end users its key benefit is that it does not require programming skills.
