[edit] Image

Alois Senefelder

I replaced the heading image with a lithograph since I thought it was more appropriate. Saving the old image here... Eliot 03:09, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling of first name

There appears to be confusion over the spelling of his name:

  1. "A History of Graphic Design," 1998 by Philip B. Meggs lists his name as "Aloys"
  2. "Typographic Design: Form and Communication," 2002 by Rob Carter, Ben Day and Philip Meggs lists his name as "Aloys"
  3. The article itself says he was born "Aloys"

What evidence is there that he actually went by "Alois?" --Parhamr 04:54, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
