Alone in the Dark II is the direct-to-video sequel to Uwe Boll's 2005 film Alone in the Dark. It features the same writers from the first film, with Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer directing and writing it. Boll is producing the film.
Filmed in New York City and Los Angeles, filming has since completed. It will be based primarily on the 2008 Alone in the Dark video game, but will also be based on older games in the series.
Rick Yune replaces Christian Slater in the role of Edward Carnby. Lance Henriksen, Ralf Moeller, Natassia Malthe, and Zack Ward are also starring.

According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, "the film will involve a group of 'witch hunters' tracking down a witch named Elisabeth Dexter."[2]
