Aloha Station Trust, LLC

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aloha Station Trust, LLC is a newly formed privately-owned trust company that will own radio and television stations previously owned by Clear Channel Communications. With plans to go private, Clear Channel is selling off hundreds of media outlets to comply with FCC ownership limits that will no longer be grandfathered to them. Fifty-one of these stations have already agreed to be sold to companies like Frequency License LLC, Providence Equity Partners, Cumulus Media, Blue Point Media and Santa Barbara Community Broadcasting. Jeanette Tully, a director of Journal Communications Inc., is serving as the sole member of the trust.

Aloha Station Trust currently does not possess any of the stations listed below. The applications from Clear Channel indicate that Aloha Station Trust will take over the stations either prior to, or simultaneously with consummation of the merger/privatization of Clear Channel.

The list below will be updated as more stations are applied for addition to the trust. There are currently more than 100 stations waiting. Stations will gradually leave the list as they are sold off or transferred to their new owners prior to the sale of Clear Channel.
