Alo of Maui
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alo ruled as the 6th Mo'i of Maui. He was the sovereign king or chief of the island of Maui. Sometimes he was referred as Alau.
Alo was son of Mauiloa, grandson of Hanalaa, great grandson of Palena, great-great grandson of Haho and great-great-great grandson of Paumakua of Maui. He followed his father as sovereign of Maui. No legends remember Alo or his wife. He fathered Kuhimana. His son Kuhimana would succeed him as Moi of Maui.
