Al Muhajabat is the Arabic word for "The women who wear hijab" Which derives from the Arabic word "hijab" (pronounced "he-jab" which means, "to cover".

It is a name of a modest Islamic clothing e-commerce store that started in 1997, one of the first of it's kind on the net. It was developed by women entrepreneurs in California of Mexican-American decent who converted to Islam in 1994.
