Almost Midnight is the fourth album by David and the Giants. It was released independently in 1980. It is currently out-of-print. It is said on the band's website that this album is to be back in production soon because it will be released on CD. Another thing about the album is that it is the only album to feature live recordings, which are "Holy Rain" and "Upper room Experience".
"Daddy" was a song David Huff wrote about his father, and is only piano with a small mandolin playing. the song is the only David & the Giants song to not have any drums.
"Holy Rain" later appeared on the Inhabitants of the Rock album in 1984 in studio version. It also appears on David Huff's latest solo project Proclaim.
"Upper room Experience" appeared on Magnificat (album) in 1987 with the studio version, and was shorter than the live recording on this album.
